And how this thing came to be.....

How "The Laughing Camel" (T.L.C. from here on out) came to be.  We (Ethan and Jeff) were sitting on a dock in Mystic, Ct. on our way back from a conference (GSYP) in New Jersey. (Pretty great conference by the way).

The day was April 20,2008. (How fitting 4/20. But 420 backwards is 024). We were talking about celebrating life and wanting to help others do the same.  We thought of starting a company that sells different products to inspire people to celebrate and/or Enjoy life.  After having such an unbelievable inspirational weekend of feeling truly connected, we wanted to share this with others. The conversation took on many dimensions and we seek to fulfill those visions. We hope to honor the sober, the friendly, the spiritual, the genuinely healthy person and the person seeking to be there. We are strengthened by the promise that "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them" - this might be great religious scripture, but we believe it is more simply about  you and us and this and it, that the greatest good of all concerned is attainable when We work together.

Seeking.  Service.  Celebrate.

We naturally hope to make a couple bucks so that we can continue to be inspired and travel to meet more of you on this journey.  However, we do have an aggressive plan for giving back and bringing this Celebration to others via the profits of this project. Continue to stay close towww.thelaughingcamel.com and follow the progress of this outlet of service we have chosen. Our website and any future physical sites aim to provide safe and healthy arenas for seeking. Seeking: knowledge, peace, celebration, fellowship, enjoyment, growth........ whatever you are or might need to be seeking, do it here - we are and hope you want to too.

And now a word about our Co-founders......

Ethan Morgan

I'm currently in my third year of a new life and it has been the best three years of my entire adult life, not the easiest but definitely the best.  From where I was three years ago even one year ago I have grown and desire to continue growing.  I couldn't possibly imagine being where I am today.  And couldn't have possibly been done on my own.  I must give thanks!!!!

Wow! We have been going at it for over two years now and what a journey it has been. I have been blessed with a great business partner in Ethan and even more blessed  by the people that he and I have met and helped over the last two years. We have had our growing pains for sure, but our dedication to be a "city on the hill" continues to motivate our every move. I hope you will join our list and begin to live one newsletter at a time with us, that we may all grow for the greatest good.
